Bio: - Michael Sartain
Early Life: Michael Sartain was born on October 5th, 1977 in Dallas, Texas to Richard Wylie Sartain and Maria Adiela Sartain. His mother, a retired maternity nurse of over 40 years, is a native of Medellin, Colombia. His father, a successful financial planner who passed away in 2006, is a native of Dallas, Texas. Michael’s paternal grandfather, Dr Aaron Quintillus Sartain PhD was the dean of the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University from 1963-1968. His father’s family is of Colonial British descent, immigrating to Virginia in the 17th century.
Sartain grew up in the neighborhood of Lakewood in East Dallas. He attended Woodrow Wilson High School where he was a district debate champion, captain of the wrestling and track teams as well as a martial arts instructor. During college in 1996 he joined the African-American Christian fraternity, Gamma Phi Delta. Sartain graduated with a BBA in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin in 2000.
Military Career: After 9/11 two of his Christian Fraternity brothers became aviators in the Navy and the Marine Corps. Sartain joined the United States Air Force in 2004 to become a Navigator on a KC-135 Stratotanker. He served four tours over seas with more than 60 combat missions over Iraq and Afghanistan. He also served as a planning officer at the Combined Air and Space Operations Center (CAOC) during the Military Surge in Afghanistan during the summer of 2009. In 2011 Michael was medically retired from the military at the rank of Captain.
Charity Events and Red Carpet Hosting: Sartain has been the red carpet correspondent for events produced by Karma International including Maxim Halloween, Runway Wonderland, Karma NYE, Maxim Super Bowl, and Karma Arabian Nights. He is also currently a red carpet host for charity events including Babes In Toyland Charity (Toy Drive, Pet Edition and Support the Troops) as well as Smash Global (Michael J Fox Parkinson’s Research and the Discrimination Free Zone) and The Model Citizen Fund (Backpacks for the homeless)
Finance Career: Sartain currently works full time in finance as a stock options trader. He has been mentored in finance by Tom Sosnoff (the creator of Think or Swim) and Tony Battista of TastyTrade.com and their brokerage, TastyWorks.com
Public Speaking: In 2008, while still in the Air Force, Sartain began interning for a dating and lifestyle company. Sartain has given hundreds of talks to thousands of men across the county. He continues to give speaches dealing with the topics of enlightenment, personal growth, happiness, fitness and dating.
The Michael Sartain Show: Sartain was the host of ‘The Michael Sartain Show‘ on YouTube. The show’s subject matter is satirical with episodes such as ‘Signs You Might Be A Creeper…’, ‘Things Women Don’t Understand About Men’ and ‘Reasons You Might Still Be Single’. The show has been featured on several blog sites including Unlooker.com.
The Millionaire Matchmaker: On April 10th, 2014 Michael Sartain appeared on season 7, episode 17 titled “The Narcissist Meets The Inner Geek” of Bravo TV’s ‘The Millionaire Matchmaker‘ along side Internet celebrity and New York socialite, Justin Ross Lee, owner of Pretentious Pocket.
The Great Love Debate: Since 2015 Sartain hast been one of the panelists for The Great Love Debate. The event is a town hall type discussion about dating and relationships that takes place in several cities across the country. The Great Love Debate featured celebrity panelists including Patti Stanger (The Millionaire Matchmaker), Heather McDonald (Chelsea Lately), Chris Soules (The Bachelor) and Adam Carolla (The Adam Carolla Show).
Interests and Hobbies: Michael Sartain is a professional videographer and accomplished drone pilot.
He currently does volunteer work for ThreeSquare.org, Southern Nevada’s only food bank.

Sartain is also lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks and Texas Longhorns. His favorite musical genres are Dubstep, Trap, Drum & Bass and Southern Rap.
He currently trains with personal trainer Sidney Wilson.
